One of the spacers went AWOL (I've seen them crack in the past) luckily the graduated splines on a Shimano hub kept most of the sprockets in the right place,well more or less ! Just 2 or 3 gears in the middle i could not quite get

We are in Kingussie. Did not think we would get here at one point due to the wrong type of wind and a terible surface on the cycle path. Switched to the glass smooth A9 just as the wind died down and we time trialed the last 20 odd miles in an hour. Hysterical !

Commuted by bike today as every day no bother, as usual Birmingham roads were beautifully gritted ! however I did not fancy the Wednesday torchlight run as I thought the lanes would be a bit tricky.
