Audaxes are fairly organic and I am sure he will find plenty of people to tag along with, even if they are not Beacon riders. It's unusual not to find somebody to ride with unless you are riding hell for leather.

I can recommend the Old Filling Station Cafe in the village centre. It is run by cyclists for cyclists.

I once planned an audax up that, along with 'The Incline' up to the top of Abdon Burf on Brown Clee. Unfortunately, the lockdown chose otherwise.
