Re: Club runs 23rd February
Yes happy to do so we will be riding at between 12 and 13 mph average but obviously no one will be left behind. It should be good for anyone who like me has been off the bike for a few weeks but wants to kick start their training for C runs or the Snowdrop or the Velo. Or anyone who enjoys a good so...

Re: Club Runs - 9th February
Chapeau to Simon, Ade and Robbie. Probably a good idea to ride separately? A large group is more likely to be blown into each other which is why I once drove to the Black Horse and cancelled a ride in a gale. Ruth Eyles and Tony Shardlow rode on and were OK. I did a ride in high winds years ago with...

Re: RIP DP
Very sad news. A legend and a lovely bloke gone much too early. His events were always a bit beyond me including the Kidderminster Map Reading Contest but I got to know him and Charlotte via CTC in later years. He was also famous for his exploits on trikes including a PBP I think.

So glad you got the insurance Helen, pity about the Roubaix though. There are so many good bikes about you will be spoiled for choice. Most brands get good reviews in Cycling Weekly. In contrast to our awesome hard core Audaxers, I'll be riding the traditional Cycling UK (aka CTC) Tri-Vets on Sunday all being well. By way of background to the Memorial Service for those who've not been before. In 1921 a Memorial was set up in Meriden by public subscription to commerate the many cyclists who died in the “Great War” 1914-1918. Meriden was chosen as the centre of England (always a matter of geographical debate!). ...
