From the segments I see on strava this seems (in bursts at least) to have been very fast by usual wednesday standards. I have enjoyed doing these rides for about a year now & have usually found the pace gets controlled by shouts from the back that riders are struggling or of mechanical problems. Eve...

I'm glad this has been brought up, like Laurence I originally assumed this course was K34/10D course. I decided to go out & check the course out this evening, I believe this strava segment http://app.strava.com/segments/4663665 is a close match to the published route. I didn't notice an obvious park...

It certainly looks like a small hole, you could check I suppose with a small pin or similar. If it is a hole I should imagine it was always there & had just been covered over by the paint so I would suprised if it failed catastrophically on route to bike shop but I guess you could contact bike shop ...

Many thanks to Harry for marshalling & especially to Richard for sacrificing his own ride at last moment to timekeep when he realised we were without. Just out of interest is there a rota for timekeeping & marshalling these club time trials? I guess we'd all rather be riding but maybe some of us who...

I know someone (not local) who has been known to travel onto a mate's 'manor' to steal their KOMs. To be fair, I think that we are all probably guilty of doing that at some point. I think that's part of the fun of strava, take a KOM crown, loose it & then go out to try to take it back. No sense in ...

ian. you say it's not recognizing your gps unit - when you plug it in does your computer recognize it as a connected device? windows should recognize it as an external drive. if not try another usb cable - they may all have same type of connector but they don't all have same wires connected.
