i took my condor to ben at VENTURE bikes and he sent it off to a dip and spray powder coater in digbeth (cant remember name), but the finish was excellent (sand blast job) -£30, you can research the colours too and give them the RAL number (colour code)

Have a good think before committing to riding your over-length bike; over extension of the back can be painful on long rides, and may never be a satisfactory ride, will the stem compensate for a 4cms overlength - as alan points out- too short a stem gets very twitchy, can you change the frame?

do you ride with mitts on or bare (bear)hands - i havn't noticed, is sweat the issue? you could try cinelli cork bar tape, or the thinner binotti type a la 70s, but that's harsher on the grip :o

i used a bit of software called HotMetalPro which i got for £40, and had alot of templates, but that was 7 years ago - as Ed says a host is the easier option, and nowadays HTML is not necessary to learn, as the coding is embedded with drag and drop style designer templates. 8)

i've used Conti Ultra GATORSKINS thru last winter and pretty good at wepping away the water in wet conditions, soft compound makes for soft ride, can be a tight fit on certain wheels. comparable to GP4000s?
