Ill go with a bit of both. The only chains that have broken on me have been because of bad joins. The trouble with Shimano is they don't use a power link just that horrible snap off rivet.

Thats great to hear Ruth shame you had to sit out but good result in the end. Next year it is then. I do feel incredibly beaten up though. My neck and shoulders are really stiff from hitting that tree with my head lol.

The beacon completed this muddy marathon just outside the top ten. Well done you guys it was tough in those conditions but you did great. I even found my ring it was caught up in my wet muddy track mitts in the wash bag.
