A MONTH TO GO UNTIL FRIDAY FERLIX
Stourport - Leominster - Hay - Llanbister Road - Knighton - Stourport.
208km, 3.25 AAA
Now Hay will be quite familiar to many audaxers due to its destination as a cake laden town, often approached via the Gospel Pass. Yet few have headed north across the un-audaxed fells to the north in the ancient Welsh Cantref of Ferlix.
The route is hilly between Stourport and Leominster, Hay and Knighton plus The Goggin, with plenty of summit views from open fells.
Mind the sheep.
As an x-rated event it will be a postal or e-brevet finish. No catered halls, no grumpy controllers at every stage along the route; just scenery camaraderie and cake laden 'free control' towns.

*And in anticipation of any silly questions, no Friday Ferlix is not taking place during a weekend. It is on a Friday. Doh!
