Hello All

I have still two marshal posts that need filling on 30th September.

If you are able to spare an hour early on Saturday morning of 30th September, please pop along to waive cheerily at riders as they leave and to grumble at people unable to park their cars properly.

Regards

Philip

That's an early start. Tempted. Should be back for breakfast with the rest of the family.

Brilliant and thanks. I will put you on parking. There will also be toast and porridge pots at the start should you want any.

Sorry - just checked the calendar and not looking good. There is a cross event on that day that I am hoping to take Matthew too. Will be a bit tight, even if I [shock and horror] drive there [\shock and horror].

Phil I'll still be on Eastern Standard Time probably but if you want the usual help clearing up at the end I could probably do that.

There is a good chance that I will be free on the Saturday morning now. Going to be hard to convince the little one to do MK cross with a WMCCL race the next day.

Thanks all for your offers of help on Saturday. I will be on site from 0645-0815; 15:15-22:15. My phone number is 07969 079242 should have any difficulties.

Belbroughton Rec will be familiar to most but here is some further information.

- The location of Belbroughton Rec is up a narrow track opposite the Tennis Courts sign off Hartle Lane. https://www.google.com/maps?ll=52.38872 ... 5208795812

- Due rider numbers and limited space for parking by the Rec, we have permission to use the Surgery in neighbouring The Glebe. See attachment. People using spaces in the Rec will need to be marshalled in tightly to improve parking capacity.

- We are not permitted to use the drag strip alongside the field due to football. We are the legitimate hiree of the hall, so if anyone complains about about the use of car park spaces then refer them to me to receive a mouthful.

- I will have porridge pots and toast for those seeking breakfast. The evening crew can each vast quantities of veggie chilli.

- Another job for car marshals is to stop riders sneaking off before the 8am start.

- One marshal will be positioned in the Rec car park and the junction with Hartle Lane.

Noted. Hope to be there before 07:00. Will bring my own stick to thrust through the wheels of anyone attempting to start before 8am.
