April TTs Appeal for volunteers

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a few volunteers to help out at a some Time Trials in April
No experience is necessary

Sat April 6th 10:00 - Come & Try Time Trialling event (4.5 miles)
Please note that the location of this event has changed
K32/5 - Shell Ford
Starter - Simon Woodward
Timekeeper - Andy Terry
Assistant - Ade Ravenscroft

Sat April 13th 10:00 - Club 20 mile TT
K32/20 - Shell Ford
Starter - Simon Woodward
Timekeeper - Dave Cole
Assistant - Alan Nicholls
Marshall - George Barker
Marshall - (Required)
Marshall - (Required)

Remind me what an assistant timekeeper does.
It is better to be interesting rather than exact

I guessed it was that. They were called Recorders back in the 20th Century.
I was concerned I might have to ponce about with a watch.
I can do the Shell Ford job on the 13th. Cole is no problem, I can cope with him.
