Beacon Boots Christmas Walk 27th December

Post by Kermit » 02 Dec 2013 22:24

The 2013 Beacon Boots Christmas Walk takes place on Friday 27 December

It'll be a gentle walk of about 5 miles starting and finishing at The Lock public house on the B4189 at Wolverley. The route takes in canal towpaths, fields and roads. Some parts may be muddy, so good footwear is recommended. It'll be a dog-friendly walk, and dogs are also welcome in the bar at The Lock.
Meet in the pub car park for a 10.15 start, aiming for a return and lunch about 12.30

Please let us know if you would like to attend so that we can advise the pub of likely numbers for lunch.

Great idea Paul. Sue and I and Val and Derek Reynolds intend to come along.

Thanks to Debs and Paul for organisting a great sheltered walk and to Dave Cole for keeping the rain off with his phone app. Good lunch at the Lock too!
