Thanks, Si. I felt a bit of a plonker, actually. For some years, the dinner's been the last weekend of November, which suits me well, because we often go to Holland in early December (feast of St Nicholas & mother-in-law's birthday). Somehow, in spite of previously receiving (and publishing!) umpteen notices, I failed to register that the date had moved to the first weekend of December until it came to actually buying the tickets.
