Tommy's daughter Kay has sent me the following email.

Hi Dave

Hope all is well with you and the family
I just wanted to let you know that Tommy is being inducted into the Kings Heath Walk of Fame on Sunday 18th May 12-5pm ceremony at 4pm We would love to see you there and wondered whether you could spread the word among the Beacon members. It all takes place in York Rd which is the next road down from Silver Street where Dad' s shop was.
There is also a sportive in Dad's name on 28th Sept in aid of Marie Curie - starting at the new hospice. Again we would like to see some Beacon members taking part!!

Sounds awfully like you are being let out of some institution;
