Beacon RCC Hill Climb Championships 14th September
Great Farley Wood Near Romsley
First rider off 10.01
Come and see if if you can beat the best time of legendary hill climber John Hitchcock.
OR
Just come and watch a group of riders sweat blood and suffer two hours of post-race "coughing their lungs up" as they struggle up the climb through Great Farley Wood.
Afterwards at Waseley Country Hills Cafe for coffee and a bacon sandwich.

Dave, you're wasted on radiography. You should be selling tickets for the circus
Just done a not-so-quick recce of the course. Apart from a trail of thumb tacks that only I know the way round, I am pleased to report that the tarmac is as smooth, sticky, clean and dry as its probably ever been. John's time on the 'old course' could be under threat.
Now, has anyone got a carbon bike that weighs less that under 7kg (or less than 8.5 kg anyway) I can borrow for c. 5 mins tomorrow morning for the old and heavy rider class? The TT is handicapped, right?
