A warm welcome from the landlord and his staff once more awaits all those who come to sample the 'brilliant atmosphere' of this get together of cyclists from clubs across the region.

Gary Mackintosh will be bringing a barbecue to the Dodford Inn on Sunday. There will be burgers sausages cheese and bread for Beacon members.

The pub will be unable to serve food so visitors are welcome to bring their own and eat it in the pub.

What a hero!

As I understand, Gary is off to Waitrose today. Apparently the BBQ will consist of artisan breads such as cheese and chive challah or cranberry sourdough, and burgers produced from boar and various wild game. For those seeking a cheese, Gary has promised not be too pretentious by only providing halloumi.

I'll get my coat.

A Xmas barbi! Brilliant, we can imagine we are in Australia. I'll bring some sunscreen and hopefully the pub will supply the fizzy, tasteless lager

Thanks to Tony Webb for booking the pub and Gary Mack for catering. Just as the last embers cooled on the BBQ Gary rolled in with a top notch selection of cheeses and charcuterie - great touch.
