The closing date for entries made on line or by post for all the Cotswold Audax is

31 May 2015

No late entries will be accepted.

Please get your entries made in good time as the rides are now starting to fill up.

Incidentally I have been handing out promotion leaflets at audax events, so this you may notice some entries from afar.

Is there an entry list anywhere? It's always nice to know who's doing what.

I am not comfortable with sharing these lists, data protection.
The results will of course be available on the Audax website.

But I would say that Hopwood Ladies outnumber Beacon members at present.

I'm thinking I'll probably do the 160 but I'm not 100% decided.

You now have less than two weeks to get your entries in for any of the Cotswold Audax rides.

Entries close on 31 May. There will be no exceptions, no late entries under any circumstances, so please get your entries in.

As of this morning, Tuesday, there are a total of 165 entrants for the Cotswold Audax.

  Journey - 46
  Outing Anti Clockwise - 24
  Outing Clockwise - 55

Entries will close on 31st May. No entries on line, postal or on the day will be accepted, so you have a few days left if you intend on entering.

Route sheets and joining instructions will be posted to those who made postal entries (some failed to send appropriately sized SAE's so they may be delayed) next Monday.
Those who entered on line will receive a email containing joining instructions and a copy of the route sheet (as long as they actually put a working email on their forms!)

Joining instructions will also be posted to the website and Facebook page.

Route sheets and gps files are available on the website.

Joining instructions have been sent by post to all those submitting postal entries.

No further entries can be made. The on line system is now closed and any late entries received by post will be returned.

Some email addresses included on the entry forms have been bounced back, in this case the joining instructions are on the website.

Can all riders on the Cotswold Outing please ensure they park bikes in designated places only when visiting the control at Charlecote . Do not lean bikes on cars or any of the items in the garden centre.

Thanks to Pete and all the helpers - another enjoyable Cotswold Audax. Great to see Brian Wilson at Broadway and Mike Kedian at Shutford. I didn't stop long at Broadway (although everybody seemed to be happy there) but Shutford was excellent with it's selection of ready made sandwiches & cakes (managed to avoid the Hooky temptation). Good cycling weather, especially after yesterday, and the great company from Simon Turner.

Thank to Pete and all the helpers on at HQ and the Controls on the Cotswold Outing. An enjoyable day out in the sunshine. Particular thanks to Pete for changing my Route Card from the Journey to the Outing, much appreciated.

Not sure it was that seamless
The last rider returned at 9.50, I have just got home and feel like I rode all of the routes in one go.
I will post more after a good sleep and at least a day away from all things Audax before beginning the battle with the weird world of getting the Brevets accredited where everything in the Audax organisers handbook seems to be different from what you actually have to do

Pete, thanks for all of your efforts to produce a successful and enjoyable audax. Interesting to see how far a significant no. of participants had travelled for the event with a healthy turnout of cyclists from Crewe and another guy from London I got talking to.

"The last rider returned at 9.50", so much for your mid afternoon prediction of an early finish then!!

The 9.50 finish must have succumbed to the Hooky temptation at Shutford. "Just a swift half" and suddenly it's dark outside.
