Dave,

I have obtained permission from senior management to go out on Sunday next so I am available for marshalling duties at the LMTT.

Can you let me know where and when please.

I do hope that you have a last minute rush of volunteers and therefore are not so reliant on the aged and infirm.

Stuart
We could do with some more help at the start/finish + directing cars into the car park, you would need to be at Shelsley Walsh by 730 AM.

let me know what you think

Can I just add a big thanks to all who have offered to do marshalling tomorrow. Without you there would be no event & I wouldn't get to ride it.

Thanks :)

Think this will be advised at sign on but ignore any yellow arrows by Witley Court and just follow direction of marshals and the black and white LMTT signage....unless you want to join the Tour of the Black Country sportive as a detour! There's some overlap in route at this point.

Thanks from me too to John and all the organisers and marshals.

Ditto, my thx to everyone too. Another superbly well organised event. I would say it was fun, but the suffering endured makes that adjective not quite the right choice. Thx folks...and well done to all the Beacon riders.

Yep, thanks from me too. Really well organised yet again - despite the challenges of a new course, new HQ and a sportive.

My thanks also. Superbly run and marshaled. I prefered that course and the venue was first class .with more chance to socialise afterwards . A good day for the Beacon

A great route made even more special by the finish and hq. Massive thanks to John and all the volunteers.

Bit of feedback on a TT forum on Facebook from a St John's rider
"Superb event by the beacon racing club. Thanks to all who made it happen.
Today at shelsley walsh at the beacon little mountain time trial 131 riders took on the punishing 37 mile course in very good conditions. The event was very well organised so many thanks to the beacon racing club for that. St johns fielded 10 riders."

Are the full results by category available anywhere? Just asking because someone has messaged the club Facebook page asking if it's possible to see the road bike results and hill climb times.

I've added the Road bike column to the provisional results we published yesterday so you may need to refresh if you've already looked at this...

Thanks for the pics, Ian, and the road bike times, Steve.

Are the hill climb times going to be made available? Just checking so that I can tell this person asking the Facebook page, either way.

I am not sure if John looks at the message board much Laurence so he may not respond to this post. I suspect that the results will be abandoned as one of the hill climb watches was found to be running significantly out of time (by mins!). I will see JH this WE and ask him. (If I can remember).

I expect if that is the case riders will get that communication via the post in with the usual results sheet and photo is going out.

I wonder though if something could be done with the Strava data? certainly you can see who the winner was according to the Strava segment, Richard Gildea, and that I beat Laurence and Adrian :D :D

The watch I was using started to loose time somewhere in the middle of the event. From the early times of the fast juniors I would think the winning time would have been somewhere in the short 4min area. Most midfielders were doing mid 6s and the slowest times about 12 min. Unfortunately the clock seems to have started losing time gradually from midway. We have checked this against Strava. Therefore it's impossible to give you times.

Sorry
