Just received an email to say that one of our old club members John Landreth died last Sunday November 5th. The funeral is on Monday November 20th 11am at Robin Hood Crematorium Hall Green. John and I spent 3 months cycle touring round Europe in the nineteen fifties. One of many memories.

John's daughter has been in touch to extend a welcome to any members who wish to attend his funeral on Monday 20th November at 11am at Robin Hood Crematorium and afterwards at Hall Green Home Guard Club, 21a Doveridge Road, Birmingham B28 0LS.
Julie said that her father enjoyed looking at the Archive photos on our website earlier in the year and reminiscing about his cycling days with Oscar.

That is so evocative. Two guys, Col de Tourmalet climbed. Huge panniers fully loaded (and some) and wearing ordinary sweaters with bare arms in the snow. Respect!
