At the British Cycling Annual Prize Giving Ceremony, February 10th, Vox Conference Centre, NEC, Dave will receive his award for Being BC National Scratch Race Champion

Blimey Mr President, this thread is a bit of a surprise! I'm not sure that I even know what I am getting tonight as I already have the medal and jersey. Should be a good do though (tickets are £50 each). Anyway I will try to get some shots of proper champions if I can. Not so good at this social media stuff though. And before Anne gets smirky, last year, this same W.E., I was on the podium at the LVRC Omnium Champs when Anne held up the entire ceremony for some time while she vainly attempted to take a podium piccie. The nice young (= tech savvy) girl sat next to her patiently explained that the reason it wouldn't work was because she had it set to selfie. Cue guffaws from all. Oh for the days of the Box Brownie! (For the political correct, that is not a fifties type inappropriate comment).
