Roger Shayes

I have just heard from Roger Shayes, he had a 6 hour operation at the end of March to repair an aortic aneurysm. He has lost 7lbs in weight since then and is still feeling weak and he tires easily. However he sounds in good spirits and we wish him well for a full recovery.

Thanks for the update, Dave. For most of his life Roger has been a tireless worker for cycling, and I'm sure everyone wishes him a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear about this, hope he recovers ok. Need him at our Track Champs, to have him wandering around with a pistol and stroking tyres! He also turns up at the AGM each year unlike the other 300 members 😁
Get well soon!

I wish Roger a speedy recovery. As for the AGM attendances Tim, you have to realise that meetings were his life blood. Definitely not cut from the same cloth as most of us.
