Hello All,

I've had a few enquiries for new kit, at this stage we need to hit a minimum of 10 items to making it viable.
With that in mind, this order will be for ss jerseys and bibs only - a larger order with other items will be looked at towards the end of the summer.

We're at 3 jersey's and 2 bibs at this stage.
Any more for any more?

Could you get details of costs for youth kit please? Possibly just ss jerseys but previously we have had bib shorts, long and short sleeve jerseys. We need some in sizes age 8, 10 and 12 and a sample first to check sizes is probably needed.

Also hope wouldn't need to be a minimum of 10 per size? I was thinking 4 or 5 ss jerseys in each of those three sizes. We don't want to make any more expensive imo so currently for jerseys they are about £50 and club subsidises if first jersey so parents pay £20something.

Could they do kids mitts as well? The imp sports ones are great but no more in stock. Also! Bidons, bottles, water containers. Any chance of getting more? Does it come under 'kit secretary' remit?! We've given free to youth members in previous years and go down well.

I'm still looking for a youth kit person to take the current stock off my hands and lead with this. If Bhodi not an option we need to order again with giordana or get a different youth kit supplier.

What size would you like, I'll enquire as to the policy on crash replacement. As I understand it, 10 is a general minimum for jersey's or bibs, not specific to men's/women's items.

I don't think the portal is being utilised at the moment, I'll dig out the costings and perhaps raise that as a separate pinned thread that can't be commented upon.

Hi Stu,

I missed the original order so I'd be interested in a medium jersey and shorts please. I'm assuming the sizing is comparable to the Giordana kit. I've got the black cx kit in a medium and thats bob on.

I'm sure I saw one on the page. If they are not available then a classic coloured one in XL (Red Eye...relaxed fit).

I don't think it's too late, but Stu is currently doing the Transcontinental Race, so I imagine he'll be able to confirm prices and will finalise the order after he gets home (he'll hopefully have a cup of tea first, though).

I believe there is a small stock of jerseys too, intended particularly for new members. This order is mainly intended for specific requirements or where we don't have the size required. It would probably be helpful for folks to state size of jersey required so Stu can at least advise whether he might have something suitable in stock.

Hi Tessa. Have you tried the jerseys on? The women’s are a bit large. I wear a small, and im a bit bigger than you! You may need an XS. Happy for you to try on my jersey to check.

Hi All,

Thank you for your patience, I am now back from my adventures and excited to get your kit needs sorted, so far I have the following:

As you can see we're up to 13 jersey's, but only 9 pairs of bibs, I will order a set for club stock if nobody else is interested.
I intend to finalise the order at the end of the week so please check and confirm back.

SS Jersey's £60.00
Bib Shorts £76.00

The plan is to get a wider kit order sorted, but this is just to ensure everybody is 'Beacon-clad' at least for the time being.
I'd like to get this finalised by the end of the week so please let me know if anything looks to be incorrect.

Sorry, I am south European!! I always arrive late.

Details of the three fits are available here, although I assumed that Stuart was planning to keep the order to one of those to keep it simple (not sure which one though, because the prices above are cheaper than the previous order).

My daughter has just joined the club and will be 6 in November. Do the jersey and shorts sizes go down to this age group?

Adrian Ravenscroft is going to be picking up the youth kit, but when I place this order I will enquire with Bodhi as to their youth offering.

Simon we did have age 8 kit which was fine for ages 6 but unfortunately we are now out of stock. Keep an eye on here and the Academy Facebook page for updates.

Just on the point of Adrian taking the youth kit on, if you look at my report for AGM last year I listed all the jobs related to the Academy and Adrian has taken them all on! As he's now a coach too, going forward it would be better if some of the jobs weren't on his plate so he could focus on that. This though will require a parent or two and/or a member or two volunteering to support the work of the Academy.

I have spoken with Bodhi over the weekend and it has been agreed that as per previous orders, Bodhi will open their web portal so you can order your kit and pay directly.

Visit - http://www.bodhicycling.cc/en/team/beacon

When you go on to the web page, you will see all of the items listed, but only the men's/women's jerseys and shorts will have an image alongside them, please only order these items.

To avoid paying the £6.95 postage cost each, I have requested that all items are posted to me, please add the following coupon on when ordering as this will calculate free postage.

Orders under £100 add - beaconfree
Orders over £100 add - beaconfree100

The web portal will close on Sunday 2nd of September, so please aim to have your order in by Saturday to avoid disappointment

If anybody experiences any issues at all or needs any help, please let me know ASAP

I will refresh this thread once the order has been delivered.

Some advice please guys. Looking at the sizing guide this kit seems bigger than brands i've had in the past.

According to the charts id be a size XS. Have other people found they've had to size down in this kit?

My only experience is a recent skin suit size M bought from Matt Clegg.
It fits me perfect, giordana is the brand.

But now, as you, if I look at the size chart mine will be S.
So perhaps, I have same issue as you Neil.

Same as above.
The shipping cost is reduced by 3 pounds using the code beaconfree (the beaconfree100 doesn't work).

When I tried the Bodhi kit on before the last order, I found it to be similar in sizing to the old Giordana kit - and other brands' non-club kit that I own. I'm usually a medium and I'm going for medium with Bodhi.
