Go Ride summer cross on Sat. Race it or help it

Bike races for all ages on Saturday on the disused athletics track on Rowheath playing fields Heath Road Bournville. £3
Sign in 1.45, races 2-4pm
Any bike is fine, balance bikes eBikes mountain bikes BMX cyclo-cross road shoppers! If you have an option the races will be on grass/dirt/gravel. Parents bring a bike too so you can have a race as well.
There are the following volunteer jobs available, don't be shy!
- bake or buy a cake and bring for riders and spectators
- buy some sweets and bring for riders
- course building from 1pm
- marshalling (standing around the track cheering on riders and warning dog walkers and runners)
- timekeeping (may run some one lap time trials)
- Italian Pursuit - Directeur Sportive roles (no experience necessary)
- first aid
- signing in
- collect the Beacon gazebo and bring it (if needed if wet)
- social media promotion of the event
- and most importantly, limbo pole management
