Trevor Shipway (Funeral arrangements added)

I have just received some very sad news, Trevor Shipway our ex president has died suddenly of a heart attack.
Our thoughts are with his family at this time. Trevor has many close friends in the Beacon and in the wider cycling community and will be sadly missed

Ken Haddon just phoned me with the news.
Trevor was my best mate in the fifties when we were juniors and we have been friends ever since.
Can't believe it,

Very sad news Trevor did so much for the club. It was good to see him at the Dinner again this year.

Shocked and saddened to her the news about Trevor as we only sat with him and Judy at the club dinner Our thoughts are with Judy and family..

it was a shock to hear about Trevor. He was a real gentleman. He did so much for the club and will be sadly missed. Please put any news relating to the funeral etc. on this site as we are out of the Country at the moment but would like to be there if at all possible. RIP old friend.
