Cancellation and Postponement of the 12th July audaxes.

COVID19 AND THE JULY AUDAXES

With a heavy heart the Kidderminster Killer 2020 is cancelled.

The Beacon Burns and From Clee to Heaven audaxes will be postponed until 3rd October to take place on the same day as Autumn Rivers, subject to AUK confirmation.

Given the escalating situation of mitigation measures surrounding Covid19 I thought it wise to cancel now and not later.

There are numerous factors at play; there is a clear public health responsibility to riders and volunteers; question marks will hang over the fitness of post-Covid riders; the willingness and availability of our host cafe venues and the problem of increasing sunk-costs. So I have taken the view that they are only audaxes and can be put-off to another time.

So I must apologise to all those people who have already entered and those hoping to enter.

Once AUK have confirmed the postponed events, I will contact all existing entrants to either postpone their entries or offer refunds.
