So the start of the big European races is on us, with a little bit of controversy to start:

Sounds like the route didn't really suit him in the first place; plus he has a better chance not taking on Nibali.

Anyway not followed what's likely to happen in the Grand Tours; anyone know if the teams have said who's doing which one? Nibali doing the Giro and the Spaniards all doing the Vuelta instead, I'm guessing?

Niballi is doing the TDF and is worth a flutter at present odds 4:1. Valverde is also doing Tdf.
