Next "local" tour winner?

He's still got a lot to prove. He hasn't yet translated his track pedigree on to the road and hasn't had the decent results in UCI World Tour events that would point towards a possible Grand Tour win, has he?
He's got a fair bit of work to do yet to get near the Tour podium.
