Alex Dowsett rode a new British 10 TT record today. 17.20.
Average of 34.6mph!
Just how is that possible?
I'm gonna do my ten mile route to work on Monday and try and fail to average 20mph.

Easy
Genetics
Then train hard...And get a decent course on a decent day.
In conclusion
Blame your parents/grand parents/great grand parents.
That's a massive chunk off the exisiting record, wonder if one day we'll see a 16 minute 10?

Well there's a good few of us couldn't do it even then, Paul. I'd have to roll down a very big hill to reach 35mph!

So he did it just before tea. But what was his time?
