I see the road championships in Nice have been cancelled due to security fears, which where meant to take place next month.

Did anyone notice that many/most of the access roads which led on to the TdeF finishing circuit in Paris had a large truck parked cross to prevent vehicular access to the circuit.
Compare this to the London race last week where I noticed a police motorcyclist suddenly stop to block a car which appeared to be about to drive on to the circuit in front of the race.
