Rollers for Trial

Post by BrumJim » 06 Feb 2023 13:33

My son (Matthew) was watching the other cyclists warm up on their rollers on Sunday, and today asked me how much they are and if he could have a set.

Is there anyone in BCC who could loan him a set for trial.

And if he gets used to them, does anyone have a spare set in their cupboard / garage that they don't use any more, please?

I don't have any rollers, but I have a spare folding turbo trainer, which you can turn the resistance right down on, so that you can then do a low-resistance warm up similar to what you would get on rollers.

Where I understand "rollers" to mean:

And "folding turbo trainer" to mean:

I have set that I'd be happy to loan out, James. If you can collect from Harborne, you're more than welcome to borrow them for a few months.

Excellent. Many thanks indeed Laurence.

Can pick them up on Saturday? Either 11:30ish or around 15:00?

Send me a DM.
