West Midlands Youth League - Wyre Forrest at Stourport

Post by PatBoySlim » 12 Jul 2015 11:02

Ciara Raced the final round of the West Midlads Youth Circuit League yesterday, and got off to the worst possible start , missing the start of the race so found herself half a lap down straight away.

Despite being on a new bike a forgetting to change gears some of the time she showed great handling skills and really looks at home riding on the drops !
She's 8 and racing in the under 10's, we watched the under 8's race as she'll be competing against many of them next year and it looks promising for her.

She also posted some impressive stats,

Average speed 21.1 kph
Fastest speed 31.2 kph

Have a look at her stats on strava (yes she has a Garmin )

Once she's used to the gears she'll be moving onto clipless pedals, one thing at a time, don't want to confuse her.
