Hello 'cross fans. The venerable Mr Gary Mac has suggested we meet up for a cyclocross session at Lightwoods Park, Bearwood tomorrow evening at 7pm.
Cross bike, mtb it doesn't matter come along and have a laugh. You'll need lights ....

Reads "Venerable"... Sobs with laughter and falls of chair

We were all extremely venerable (or was it vulnerable?) at last night's inaugural Beacon 'cross session. Six of us made it out the front door in order to come together and ride around a grassy park, occasionally jumping off and on again, and sometimes just falling off. I thoroughly enjoyed it - riding on grass is tiring indeed.
Big thanks to everyone for making it and Gary in particular for planning the circuit, setting up the planks and basically coming up with the idea in the first place.
It's hoped we'll do the same again next week possibly on Tuesday at 7pm.
Stand by for confirmation.
