Really really good fun. Highly recommended! Several there on Mtb including the winner of the women's who flew round so a cx bike isn't essential. Stuart raced on his winter steel Genesis so a specific cyclocross bike isn't a must, tyres and Mtb shoes and spds are though.
Representing the club this week was Simon Dighton, Carolyn Clegg, James Tate, Stuart White and me.
A hard fitness and technical challenge but I didn’t crash or come last so anyone could do it, it's amazingly well organised and really friendly (apart from the odd over pushy parent!) so great for all from age 5 to 75.
Simon in the vet50s had a bad spill on gravel needing some stitches later but raced on! He needs a new skinsuit Andy. He's racing next week I think though!

Back on the turbo tonight and off the painkillers - need to work out how sore the arm would be if I get another bang but moving the right way so will see how I feel Sat. Will definitely have to get a new skinsuit ordered on the next batch as for now patching up with £3 red lycra knickers from Peacocks - matching colours though!
