Congratulations Dave on your silver medal in the Omnium Championships. Outstanding effort over the six events, including a win in the scratch and winning the silver by a single point from two others. Seems like 2nd place and gaining a lap in the points race may have been crucial.

Thanks Steve. You have been looking at the LVRC web site I take it. It was a daunting 2 days despite the winning start in the scratch race. Kept dropping points and ended up having to rescue a podium place by doing well in the points race. Not my favourite event. (Too much hard work needed)! In the event managed to get in a break of 4 to the lap remainder of the field and ensure silver.
