For anyone that’s interested in riding the Halesowen Friday night track league you can sign up to the league here:

https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/club/ ... ack-league

Last couple of years we’ve had regular Beacon riders down in their 2’s and 3’s, both young and old(er) so would be goood to see more.

I’m hoping to make it down when I can, but depends on other racing over the weekend.

I'll be there again this year. There'll be at least couple riding in the under 10s and 12s I think too. Always a great atmosphere for watching with music, bar and BBQ. Anyone wanting to do will need some track experience and be accredited by Halesowen (date not confirmed yet I don't think) or one of the indoor tracks. Under 10s ride freewheel/normal bike. The best value racing and also nearest racing opportunity there is, adults get 4 races and under 10s three each night. If wet it get cancels and that gets announced on Halesowen twitter feed. See you there! For any youth novices wanting to race fixed/track bike born in 2008 or earlier there's a beginners coaching session there this Sunday morning ran by Luke a coach from Redditch, get in touch with them if you want to join in, you prob will need to join Redditch as a second claim member.
