Cyclo Cross 27th August

Dear Beaconiks
Following the successful grass track championships last week, we’re really looking forward to our next event which is the Cyclo cross race on Tuesday 27th August. Young riders aged 5-13 from across the West Midlands will be competing in a pre-season event between 1pm and 4pm and there are plenty of opportunities to help out. Please don’t worry if you’re not available for the whole time. If you’ve only got an hour free you’d be more than welcome.
Here’s the timetable:
• from 11:30 setting up the course.
• 12:00 helping out with signing on
• 1-4 help with judging, timing, marshaling.
• 4-5 helping out with putting the equipment away.
The event takes place at Holders Lane, Birmingham, B13 8NLand the around the Redgras pitch. This promises to be a great chance to promote our sport to young riders – in particular to first time competitors. Leave a message here if you’ve some time available.
