WMCCL Round 12 - Highley and the Motor Cross track again

Was a warmer day than the previous week at Worcester, or that was what the thermometer was telling us. Those that braved the banks of the Severn on Sunday will attest to the strong wind which made it seem much colder.
Finally, and much to the relief of all riders and organisers, we finally got some half-decent mud, although those who watched the Superprestige race at Boom on Saturday won't think so. The course, sufficiently similar to the previous visit to make it seem familiar, but with enough changes to keep it interesting, was quite a tough one, with the added interest of steam whistles and smoke punctuating the atmosphere.
Beacon results:
Matthew Russell - 8th out of 18, 7th in his category
Stephen Croggon - 28th out of 61, 23rd in his category
Roger Cutler - 16th out of 38, 10th in his category
