Hi all. Quick question. I've been away from club runs for nearly 2 years due to a serious knee injury. I'm trying to build up my fitness for joining a run again in June and was planning on cycling around Clent this weekend. The last time I tried to cut through via Putney Lane it was closed due to building work. Is this still the case?

Hello Ryan.

Yep it is reopened. Last year I raised a request with Highways to have it patched. They completed the patching a few weeks ago. However, it is scheduled for top-dressing sometime in June, so expect to be closed for a day or so, again.

By coincidence, you name was mentioned at the weekend when discussing club run riders not seen for a while. Sorry to hear about the knee surgery but I hope you will be putting in the miles again soon.

Thanks for the info Phil.

Yes, I don't think I'll be ready for a Kidderminster Killer again just yet but I'm hoping to do the B run a week on Sunday
