Track session Newport November.

Post by AdeR » 02 Aug 2023 18:02

News from a mate of mine Graham Hewson who getting some requests to organise another visit to Newport .
He is thinking early in November
This is not a request for commitment just to help him gauge interest please let reply if you would be interested in going down and riding on the boards for 2 hours . An indication of interest would be a great help. I've told him I will be up for it.

If be interested, work permitting.
I love riding on the track and would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't done it before.

The next Tommy Godwin Track Day will be on Sunday 29th of October starting at 1300hrs to hopefully 1600hrs. There is an option to run this for 3 hours if we get enough riders .Cost per rider is going to be somewhere near £30 per rider
This is taking into account the British Cycling Discount .
Please spread the word a detailed event flyer will follow shortly

From the organiser 'This information regarding a track day on October 29 th is slightly fluid I am 99 % sure it will go ahead on that day . Between PDQ and ourselves and the Velodrome we are juggling timings to make it all fit . Watch out for the final details' I will keep updating here

My understanding is that there will be two groups - one with more experienced riders and another for riders new(er) to the track.
