Safer Streets for Birmingham now a national campaign

If you've been following the Better Streets for Birmingham campaign and now the national Safer Streets Now campaign has really taken off over the summer. There's a national day of action tomorrow with a demonstration in Birmingham at 11.00 at junction of Chester Rd and Gravelly Lane. Links below
https://saferstreetsnow.co.uk https://betterstreetsforbirmingham.org

A group will leave New Street Station to ride out at 9.30 tomorrow morning.

If you are concerned about the epidemic of dangerous driving and road deaths in this City and the impact of car culture on our cities and its impact on cycling, children getting to school etc might be worth coming along?

Good coverage on the Safer Streets Podcast with Adam Tranter, Ned Boulting and Laura Laker with interview with Mat McDonald and Sarah Chandler

So big weekend - Safer Streets Saturday morning, bit of help with Beyond the Dyke in the evening and then a Club Run on Sunday. This campaign though is of immense importance to anyone who rides a bike or uses the road. At a time when Rish! Sunak helicopter man is preparing a turn around in a desperate search for followers to support the poor motorist by increasing speed limits, taking out bus lanes and other rubbish
