George does look young for his age

Post by Philip Whiteman » 14 Oct 2013 15:17

Last week, a cafe discussion on real age and visual appearance are often remarkably different for cyclists. I pronounced that George looked very young for somebody in his 60s. This result was an astonished look from George, who is aged in his early 50s.

The mistake was simple. George uses a name of Scarlet, White and Green on Facebook where the profile declares a 67th birthday. Scarlet White and Green does of course refer to the age of the Beacon RCC and not to George. Apologies to George.

funny you should mention this. At the BH two weeks ago, Angat said that he thought I was in my early forties. I was well chuffed with that.

I always say you're as young as you feel.

I feel 94.

But I'm pleased to say that I still have the sense of humour of someone eighty years younger.
