Sadly, this is the second cycle shop to have shut their doors within recent weeks. The Green Bike Company located in Worcester will also be closing. The market dominance of internet suppliers and saturation of the market by recently opened shops will have had an impact.
Cultracing was an excellent shop providing excellent service, from whom I purchased at least two bikes. Paul was very supportive of the Beacon RCC and for a period of time, acted as a retailer for our club clothing. In recent times, Paul has been through the mill, so I very much hope that his fortunes turn for the better.
