Merry Xmas from DownUnder

Wishing everyone in damp dark Blighty a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year from sunny DownUnder.

As you can from the pictures, its been a tough year of pedalling in Brisbane in the 'winter' (at mountain top café with Long Macchiato) and then, now, the summer (at Brisbane river pedestrian bridge coffee barrow with Long macchiato!)

I've been plagued and crippled by sciatica most of the year (hence the touring bike as its more comfy) so my riding has in fact been rather subdued. I'm on the surgeon's slab in January, so fingers crossed hope to be back at it by your spring.

A bit extreme going half way round the planet, sacrificing any chance of decent beer, to find someone who knows how to make a macchiato properly, but hey-ho.
