M5 Closure: Impact on drivers, cyclists and other road users

Post by Philip Whiteman » 22 Jan 2016 11:55

It may be worth avoiding main roads between Bromsgrove and Worcester during coming months. The M5 will be subject to frequent closure and traffic diversions, usually overnight. 8. It is also reasonable to guess that during summer months and peak times, bottleneck congestion will also have a collateral impact on local roads.

For cyclists, it is probably advisable to steer clear of the A38 during motorway closures. Scheduled motorway closures are likely to be overnight.
