In a moment of rash enthusiasm I have entered the above and look forward to chatting with and/or competing against any of my contemporaries who are still around.I was in the Beacon 1960 to 1976.After the event I am going to stay overnight with ex member Colin Purdy of that era and hillclimb fame who now lives in Offchurch near Leamington.

Well Rod, it seems that this age related enthusiasm is catching. I have also entered and look fwd to chatting on the day, if not during the actual ride!
