New front door and / or locksmith

Post by JessRJ » 03 Oct 2016 23:02

Hello - would anyone be able to recommend a good & reasonably priced person / company to supply & fit a new house front door & frame, or to change locks in an existing door? Nothing bad happened, just one of the locks on my door doesn't work & the other is getting harder to open. The door also looks a bit battered so thinking of getting quotes for a total replacement & just a lock replacement. Thank you knowledgable people of Beacon :)

Badger for if you want new and modern. We've used for Windows and back door and have friends who have too and they are decent. Expect would be over £500 though if not nearer £1k.

This Greg is a good friendly carpenter 07812 163817 who I'm sure would fit a new locks to current door or a whole new wooden door with locks, but then you'd need to paint. There's a place in Cotteridge that does front doors too.

+1 for Badger windows if you are after uPVC. I have a rival carpenter, Paul, who's done a few jobs for us (including doors!) and is friendly and reliable, 07880882401.
