Hi, I hope this is of interest.
BOCC have booked a private room for Friday 18th November for our Q&A/chat with Mat Stephens:
Initially, invitations went out only to those that bought tickets, or wanted to buy tickets, for our annual club dinner last January when Matt Stephens (guest speaker) had to cancel at short notice. Matt, after a long season of travelling & commentating, has kept to his promise to make up for this by doing a Q&A chat session for us.
Venue: The Hanbury Turn ph, Hanbury Rd B60 4LU
Tel: 01527 577187
The room is the one upstairs, above the bar.
Arrive from 7.00pm in the bar, for a 7.30pm Q&A chat-start upstairs.
The Hanbury Turn are not expecting any of us to have a meal, but I guess if anyone wants to, they could pre-book a meal (for before or after the chat)
direct with the Hanbury Turn.
The room hire & Q&A chat session with Matt is FREE of charge.
Please reply promptly; seating is limited to 40.
Best Regards
Derek

Probably best know to most of us through his work on the GCN YouTube channel.Philip Whiteman wrote:I am possibly being very ignorant but who is Matt Stephens?

I'm afraid that I am still glued to radio, mainly at 9pm on a Thursday morning listening to Melvyn Bragg's 'In Our Time' for light hearted discussion.Andy Terry wrote:Probably best know to most of us through his work on the GCN YouTube channel.Philip Whiteman wrote:I am possibly being very ignorant but who is Matt Stephens?
