Article out today - nice coverage of Beacon Club Run should raise our profile even further!

just been out to buy this week's CW, and yes, a positive article, making us out to be half-decent people, even being called 'affable Midlands mile munchers' seems affectionate.

I'm surprised that Neil Orchard has not already posted the picture of him powering over the brow of a hill (with us all in his wake) onto every billboard in Birmingham...good picture, Neil.

Matt Clegg is now known officially as Matt 'fresh-faced' Clegg.

I've just been to the Spar on campus to try to find a copy, but either they don't sell Cycling Weekly or Philip Whiteman has bought up all of their copies. :(

My name is in Cycling Weekly! I can die a happy man :D

I know I'm biassed but it's a really great article and a collection of superb pictures.

Totally promotes the club in exactly the right way I think.
Buy the copies up and enjoy the read and tell everyone you know, member or not, to do the same.

Well done to Phil for organising and everyone for turning up and riding.
Is there a possibility of getting a digital copy or pdf of the article and also copies of the photos for our use?

I got my copy at Bham airport, off on a weeks well deserved break. Imagine my surprise when I leafed through the pages & saw some familiar faces looking back at me! Weird!! Great for the profile of the club though.

This week and last week, the Ride with... feature has made it on to the website: http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/?s=Ride+with%E2%80%A6. It seems to be a new thing that they put it online, so it's a shame we just missed the start of that.

Laurence, 'a shame'!? it's a catastrophe as my hill climb pic would have been seen by all, along with the 'fresh faced' Mr Clegg :-)
