Dear Beaconites,
Does anyone have a route from Brum to Bishop's Castle? We're going camping there next week and I am toying with the idea of riding over there. Don't mind if it's hilly - I won't be carrying anything, my wife would be driving over. So before I spend ages re-inventing the wheel, has anyone done this before? Any recommendations for a route and possibly a cafe stop gratefully received. Thanks, Graham.

Re: Bishop's Castle
You could follow the Kidderminster Killer route as far as Acton Scott, thence head down to Marshbrook and cross the A49 and onto the B4370 for Bishops Castle.
Tea Rooms at Upper Arley by the river or the little sandwich bar behind Arley Station. There is also the tea room at Acton Scott farm but use the rear 'staff entrance' (cyclists are allowed) for the tea room. This will get you as far as Acton Scott https://ridewithgps.com/routes/15029269
