This news is so terrible. Even as a coach to our young riders and as a parent I can only imagine what the family, friends and club are going through. Thoughts are with them all.

Several of our members may know him or have ridden against him.

The WW juniors have always seemed like a nice, friendly and tight-knit group when I've encountered them at races. I can't imagine what they're going through right now.

There's a fundraising appeal here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/rideforjoeguy. Tim and I are discussing with the rest of the committee what we can do as a club, but sharing the link for those who want to make individual donations.
