Local Bike theft from outbuldings
Posted: 06 Mar 2021 10:31
Hi All
There is increasing cycle theft in the area.
My bikes were well secured in a shed with a sold secure gold lock which was cut with an angle grinder.
Please be careful I believe I was followed home prior to the theft.

Good afternoon
There have been two recent crime reports in the vicinity of Alvechurch Road, West Heath where unknown offenders have broken into secured lock sheds and have stolen expensive road bikes.
Please be extra diligent if you store expensive property in your sheds. A closed shackle padlock protects your shed being broken into with bolt cutters and saws because they only have a small section of the shackle unprotected. A wireless alarm can also be an extra deterrent as they do not need to be connected to the mains.
Kind Regards
