A friend of mine is involved in a project to convert the disused Worcester-Bromyard-Leominster railway line to a greenway for shared use by cyclists, pedestrians and others. Full details are available here: https://wblgreenway.org.uk/. Details of the national greenway network are here: https://www.sustrans.org.uk/our-blog/pr ... -wildlife/.
Apparently, Herefordshire CC is quite positive about the idea, but Worcestershire less so. With a view to showing the council that there is latent demand for such a facility, the group lobbying for the route has set up an online survey, where locals and potential visitors to the area can indicate what use they might make of the greenway if the plan went ahead. The survey takes only a few moments to fill in, so please take a look: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/3F2Q652
